Anita Alner puts Vital Link on tape, reading from her braille version. She is another key cog in the Come Fishing machine and does many jobs that her sighted colleagues are delighted she takes over!
Volunteers
Through the Roof has hundreds of volunteers across the country, helping us directly with our programmes. These dedicated volunteers lead groups and holidays, travel around giving talks, raise funds, take part in overseas mission trips... We're so thankful to have such a dedicated team!

Helen Goddard is our longest-serving volunteer. She fulfils all the orders placed on our website and those received in the post. She sends out thank-you letters to donors and enters items on the database.
Ken Fearey is our recycling king, stopping us drowning under cardboard boxes! He does a lot to help Jenny with DCF and is an all-round good egg!
Margaret Hanington helps out generally when we are in need of a bit of extra help. She keeps us all amused with her dry sense of humour!
Linda Head joined Through the Roof in the summer of 2007. Linda comes in two mornings a week, writing and despatching the weekly prayer email and helping process incoming finance .
Carol Mills is Through the Roof’s Northern Ireland Co-ordinator and a teacher at Fleming Fulton school, Belfast.
