Our Volunteers

Through the Roof  has hundreds of volunteers across the country, helping us directly with our programmes.  These dedicated volunteers lead groups and holidays, travel around giving talks, raise funds, take part in overseas mission trips...  We're so thankful to have such a dedicated team!

Anita Alner

Anita Alner puts Vital Link on tape, reading from her braille version. She is another key cog in the Come Fishing machine and does many jobs that her sighted colleagues are delighted she takes over!read more »

Helen Goddard

Helen Goddard is our longest-serving volunteer. She fulfils all the orders placed on our website and those received in the post. She sends out thank-you letters to donors and enters items on the database.read more »

Linda Head

Linda Head joined Through the Roof in the summer of 2007.  Linda comes in two mornings a week, writing and despatching the weekly prayer email and helping process incoming finance .read more »

Carol Mills is Through the Roof’s Northern Ireland Co-ordinator and a teacher at Fleming Fulton school, Belfast.read more »

Karen Goodridge

Karen joined Through the Roof as a volunteer fundraiser, working on obtaining grants and funding bids, as well as sharing her expertise from years raising money for Wheels for the World in Ashtead.read more »
