After the death of a very special DCF member – Sharon Key – three years ago, we have presented the Sharon award annually. The award, in the shape of a crystal key, is given to someone who displays the same qualities as Sharon. This year the award went to Linda Titheridge, and she was invited to join a group of us for lunch quite unaware that she had been given this award and that the lunch was in her honour! There was much chatter and singing as well as laughter for the time we were all together, with many memories of holidays together being shared amongst all present. Congratulations Linda from all at Through the Roof.

Bookings for the 2012 Majorca holiday are NOW OPEN

Holidayers will stay at the Hotel Palia Sa Coma in Majorca. It’s located on the eastern part of the island, 70km from Palma and is well known for extensive, beautiful beaches. The hotel is on the seafront, with direct access to the promenade and beaches of Sa Coma and S’Illot. It’s close to shops, cafes, donkey rides and boat trips. The promenade is flat and the accessible beach is very close.

The rooms are apartments, with twin bedrooms and living area, plus a small kitchen area. Each room has a balcony, either overlooking the sea or the shops.

The ALL INCLUSIVE service contains: Full board in buffet style with drinks included. Food and drinks are available all day. In-room TV, internet access and a safe are all available for an extra charge.

A wide range of activities and entertainment (including evening shows) is provided by the hotel.

FULL BOARD costs: £1085, plus excursions and care supplement. All are encouraged to bring their own carer if possible.

If you wish DCF to provide a carer, please contact us for additional cost.

And initial deposit of £150 is required to secure your place. A second installment of £290 will be due by December 1st 2011.

After two lovely weeks in the sunshine, new friendships had been formed and a real sense of God having led the holiday from start to finish was felt amongst all the guests and helpers. We recharged our batteries as we met together in our times of fellowship – the whole two weeks was summed up by another guest as ‘amazing!’

The resort: Sa coma is located on the eastern part of the island, 70km away from Palma, 65km from the airport Son Sant Joan and it is well known for its extensive beaches, some of the best in Mallorca.

Location: The hotel is situated on the seafront with direct access to the promenade and beaches of Sa Coma and S’Illot.

Accommodation: The hotel offers 174 apartments distributed over 6 floors with elevators.
