We offer opportunities for people to connect with others in different ways through a range of communities:
Become part of Through the Roof’s online community by joining our Facebook page and interacting with other ‘fans’ – discuss disability issues, fundraising, church… See photos of our activities, learn about upcoming events, socialise and network!
Get support, Bible teaching, prayer and fellowship through DCF local groups – to find out more see our DCF pages, or go to our Pin in the Map page to see where your nearest group is located.
Be part of a prayer community -1:1 prayer support, regular prayer e-mails and a prayer board are all available via our DCF pages.
Get involved in Integr8, our programme for and about young people.
Join Roofbreakers or Caring-UK. These are online newsgroups (not hosted by Through the Roof) aiming to support people affected by disability. They are ‘closed’ groups – in other words, you have to be a member to both read and post messages. This means that all postings are confidential and enables people to be more open than they would be in a forum that is able to be seen by anyone.
Roofbreakers is open to anyone to discuss any issue related to disability – To subscribe send a blank e-mail to: roofbreakers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
Caring-UK is a support group for parents of children on the autism spectrum as well as a few individuals on the autism spectrum. To subscribe send a blank e-mail to: caring-uk-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
