Our Vision Is For All Disabled People To Be Free To Fulfil Their God-Given Potential

Holidays

For over 25 years Disabled Christians Fellowship has provided opportunities for disabled adults to go on accessible holidays throughout Britain and overseas, with care provided on UK holidays. We offer disabled guests and their friends a first-class holiday which provides respite care, giving regular carers well-earned rest. Many lasting friendships have been formed through the holidays as guests enjoy fun and fellowship in a happy and informal atmosphere.

  • All our DCF holiday venues are selected and inspected by a full-time wheelchair user.
  • We usually provide helpers, although if you prefer to bring your own helper that’s fine.
  • We offer a combination of organised trips, activities and free time.
  • Each evening there’s a chance to be refreshed spiritually with prayer, praise and worship.
  • Guests have an opportunity to participate in an evening of entertainment by both guests and helpers before saying goodbye.

  • Each Spring we run a short holiday for families with an autistic child at Dalesdown, a Christian centre in a beautiful setting in the Sussex countryside.

We organise a full programme of activities including craft, adventure trail, praise parties and outings to the seaside and swimming pool, and each of the 9 families is given a one-to-one support helper for their autistic child. Siblings are included, so that this holiday offers both ‘time together’ as a family and ‘time out’ for parents to relax, knowing their children are in good hands. Families who often find it impossible to take a holiday appreciate our understanding and accepting attitude towards their children’s needs and behaviour.

On all our holidays we can guarantee three things for certain, you’ll…

    • …meet and make lasting friends with other Christians
    • …be able to relax and have an inspiring time
    • …laugh a lot, have fun and have your batteries recharged
